The Single Pole B Curve RCBO Breakers from ESR are available in a range of amp ratingsincluding 6 Amp, 10 Amp, 16 Amp, 20 Amp, 32 Amp and 40 Amp. This range includes the RCBO1-630B, RCBO1-1030B, RCBO1-1630B, RCBO1-2030B. RCBO1-3230B and RCBO1-4030B models.
An RCBOcircuit breaker is a current breakercomprised ofRCD andMCBfunctions designed to protect the user and their property from overloads and short circuits by breaking the current as is passes through your consumer unit in the event of suggested dangerous earth leakage.RCBOs are known to save lives and are a commonly used component in domestic consumer unit configurations.
These RCBO modules will use 1 module/way on your consumer unit rail bar, and are ideal for use with lighting/heating circuits in B curve (uses where switching surges are low or non-existent). All models in this list will trip at 30mA.
B curve RCBOswill trip at 3-5 times the rated current, while C curve RCBOswill trip at 5-10 times the rated current. Therefore we advise consulting your electrician if you are unsure which curve or current is right for your desired application, as the wrong type may cause unnecessary tripping or create a potential hazard.
